Advanced Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle for advanced engineering initiatives, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and optimize system architectures using tools like MATLAB, Simulink, or CAD software for aerospace and industrial applications.
- Conduct risk assessments, failure mode analysis (FMEA), and ensure compliance with international standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to meet project milestones and budgets.
- Implement advanced project management methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or Six Sigma to drive efficiency and on-time delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on high-impact projects.
- Interface with customers and stakeholders to translate needs into actionable engineering solutions.

- Proven track record managing complex engineering projects from inception to completion (experience)
- Experience with engineering design tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or ANSYS (experience)
- Familiarity with regulatory standards like FAA, EASA, or ISO 9001 (experience)
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification or equivalent (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline (experience)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Six Sigma Green Belt certification (experience)
- International project experience in multicultural environments (experience)
Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in the design, development, and validation of advanced engineering systems and prototypes
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets using MS Project or Primavera, ensuring adherence to scope and quality standards
- Perform system integration testing, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for engineering challenges
- Collaborate with global supply chain partners to ensure component availability and cost optimization
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies to enhance project efficiency
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for executive reviews and customer deliverables
- Mentor and develop junior team members while fostering a culture of innovation and safety
