Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize advanced software architectures for embedded systems, real-time applications, and cloud-integrated platforms using modern frameworks.
  • Lead the implementation of scalable algorithms and data processing pipelines to enhance system performance and reliability in high-stakes environments.
  • Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure robust, secure, and efficient software deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, product managers, and data scientists to integrate software with hardware and deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Mentor junior engineers, drive agile methodologies, and contribute to technical roadmaps for emerging technologies like AI/ML and edge computing.
  • Perform unit, integration, and system testing, while ensuring compliance with industry standards such as DO-178C for aerospace or ISO 26262 for safety-critical systems.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, prototype innovative solutions, and support deployment in production environments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field (experience)
  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development for complex systems, preferably in aerospace, industrial automation, or IoT domains (experience)
  • Proven expertise in C++, Python, or Java for developing high-performance, real-time applications (experience)
  • Strong experience with software design patterns, algorithms, and data structures (experience)
  • Hands-on knowledge of embedded systems, Linux/RTOS, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) (experience)
  • Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and agile development practices (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, ISTQB, or safety-critical software standards (DO-178C) (experience)
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) or cybersecurity in software systems (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead design and development of real-time control systems and IoT edge applications with a focus on performance optimization
  • Perform comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, and system-level validation, to meet rigorous quality and safety standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate software with hardware prototypes and deploy to production environments
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and drive best practices in agile sprints
  • Analyze system requirements, prototype innovative features, and contribute to technical documentation and patents
