Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize high-performance software applications using C++, Python, and Java for embedded systems and real-time industrial controls.
- Lead the architecture and implementation of scalable software platforms, ensuring robustness, security, and compliance with industry standards like DO-178C and ISO 26262.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to integrate software with IoT devices and cloud services.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to achieve optimal system efficiency and reliability in production environments.
- Prototype and validate innovative solutions using agile methodologies, contributing to continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence through best practices in software engineering.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in AI/ML, edge computing, and cybersecurity to propose enhancements for Honeywell's product roadmap.

- Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering high-quality, reliable code (experience)
- Ability to obtain relevant security clearances or certifications as required (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
- Certifications such as Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) or AWS Certified Developer (experience)
- Experience with Honeywell's software frameworks or similar industrial IoT platforms (experience)
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement advanced software solutions for embedded systems and control algorithms
- Lead design reviews and ensure adherence to safety-critical standards and coding guidelines
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Integrate machine learning models into software for predictive analytics and optimization
- Troubleshoot complex issues in multi-threaded, distributed systems environments
- Collaborate on requirement analysis and translate them into robust technical implementations
- Document software designs, APIs, and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives
