Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement scalable software architectures for embedded systems, cloud-integrated platforms, and real-time applications using modern frameworks.
  • Lead the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance of high-reliability software.
  • Develop and optimize algorithms for data processing, machine learning models, and control systems in safety-critical environments.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to integrate software with firmware and hardware components.
  • Perform code reviews, ensure adherence to coding standards, and implement CI/CD pipelines for agile development.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues in production environments, enhancing system performance and reliability.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical roadmaps for emerging technologies like edge computing and AI-driven automation.

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software development for embedded systems, IoT, or industrial applications (experience)
  • Proven expertise in C++, Python, or Java for developing real-time and distributed systems (experience)
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, including design patterns, agile methodologies, and DevOps practices (experience)
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (experience)
  • Ability to obtain security clearance or work with sensitive aerospace/industrial data (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, ISTQB, or ARM Accredited Engineer (experience)
  • Experience with aerospace standards (e.g., DO-178C, ARP4754A) or industrial protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus) (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust software solutions for embedded and cloud-based systems using C++, Python, and RTOS
  • Lead requirements gathering, system modeling, and architectural design for complex engineering projects
  • Implement and optimize machine learning models and data analytics pipelines for predictive maintenance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware sensors and actuators
  • Conduct thorough testing, including unit, integration, and performance testing in simulated environments
  • Drive continuous improvement through code refactoring, performance tuning, and adoption of new technologies
  • Document software designs, APIs, and processes to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance
