Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable software architectures for embedded systems, cloud-integrated IoT platforms, and real-time control applications.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Develop high-performance algorithms and models using modern programming paradigms for data processing and machine learning integration.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, product managers, and quality assurance teams to ensure seamless system integration and reliability.
- Optimize code for performance, security, and scalability in resource-constrained environments typical of aerospace and industrial applications.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence through code reviews, best practices, and agile methodologies.
- Investigate emerging technologies like edge computing and AI to enhance Honeywell’s product portfolio.

- 5+ years of professional experience in software development for embedded systems, IoT, or industrial applications (experience)
- Proven track record in designing and deploying software for real-time, safety-critical environments (experience)
- Experience with full software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies including Agile and DevOps (experience)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to handle complex technical challenges (experience)
- Eligibility to work in India with excellent English communication skills (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Developer, ISTQB, or Certified Scrum Master (experience)
- Experience with aerospace standards (e.g., DO-178C) or industrial protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus) (experience)
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust software architectures for embedded and cloud-hybrid systems using C++, Python, and Java
- Implement and optimize real-time algorithms for control systems and sensor data fusion
- Lead code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure software quality and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and resolve integration issues
- Deploy and maintain software solutions using CI/CD pipelines and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Analyze system performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments
- Contribute to innovation by prototyping new features involving AI/ML and edge computing
