Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform tailored to industrial applications in refining, oil & gas, chemicals, power, and mining.
- Lead end-to-end development cycles, from requirements gathering to deployment and optimization of microservices and serverless architectures.
- Collaborate with domain experts, data scientists, and stakeholders to integrate industrial IoT data streams into cloud platforms for advanced analytics.
- Ensure solutions meet stringent industry standards for security, compliance (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001), and high availability in mission-critical environments.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive agile methodologies to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Perform code reviews, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize performance for large-scale data processing.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies to innovate and prototype next-generation cloud solutions for energy and resource sectors.

- Experience leading cross-functional teams in agile development environments (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science or related field (experience)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud certification (experience)
- Domain expertise in Refining, Mining, or Energy sectors with prior project leadership (experience)
Responsibilities
- Design scalable cloud architectures for industrial applications, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance
- Lead the implementation of microservices, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
- Develop and integrate real-time data pipelines for IoT sensors and SCADA systems into cloud environments
- Conduct security assessments and implement compliance measures for regulated industries
- Collaborate with product managers and field engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Optimize cloud costs and performance through monitoring tools like CloudWatch or Prometheus
- Prototype and evaluate emerging technologies such as edge computing and AI/ML for industrial use cases
