Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect advanced systems integrating hardware, software, and firmware for real-time applications in aerospace and industrial automation.
- Lead requirements analysis, system modeling, and verification using tools like DOORS, SysML, and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Implement and optimize control algorithms, ensuring compliance with safety standards such as DO-178C and ARP4754A.
- Manage system integration, testing, and validation through simulation environments and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) setups.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with software, hardware, and quality teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
- Drive innovation by prototyping emerging technologies like AI/ML for predictive maintenance and edge computing.
- Document system architectures, perform risk assessments, and support certification processes for regulatory approval.

- Proven track record with systems lifecycle processes including requirements management, design, integration, and verification (experience)
- Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler or Enterprise Architect (experience)
- Familiarity with industry standards like ISO 15288, ARP4754, and DO-178C (experience)
- U.S. citizenship or ability to obtain security clearance due to ITAR/EAR compliance (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Systems Engineering or related field (experience)
- INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or equivalent certification (experience)
- Experience with Honeywell's product lines in avionics, automation, or building controls (experience)
Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end system solutions, defining interfaces, performance requirements, and trade studies for multi-domain integrations
- Develop and maintain system models using SysML to simulate behaviors and predict system performance under various scenarios
- Lead design reviews, failure modes analysis (FMEA), and hazard assessments to ensure safety and reliability
- Integrate subsystems through CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and hardware emulation for rapid iteration
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives
- Conduct traceability analysis from requirements to test cases, supporting FAA/EASA certification efforts
