Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect advanced systems integrating hardware, software, and firmware for real-time applications in aerospace and industrial environments.

  • Conduct system-level modeling, simulation, and analysis using tools like MATLAB/Simulink and SysML to optimize performance and predict failure modes.

  • Proven track record in designing and deploying safety-critical systems in aerospace, defense, or industrial automation (experience)
  • Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tools and methodologies (experience)
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering standards (e.g., INCOSE, ARP4754A) (experience)
  • U.S. citizenship or ability to obtain security clearance due to ITAR/EAR requirements (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Systems Engineering or related field (experience)
  • Professional certifications such as INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) (experience)
  • Experience with digital twins, IoT, or AI-driven system optimization (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Architect end-to-end system solutions for Honeywell's aerospace and automation portfolios, ensuring interoperability and performance
  • Perform requirements analysis, decomposition, and traceability using tools like DOORS or Polarion
  • Lead system integration testing, including hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and software-in-the-loop (SIL) simulations
  • Identify and mitigate system risks through FMEA and HAZOP analyses
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to process improvements in agile development environments
  • Interface with customers and suppliers to define system specifications and resolve integration issues
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate innovative technologies into product roadmaps
