Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the testing and validation of Pressure, Force, Speed, and Position Sensors, developing comprehensive test plans and executing them to verify system integrity.

Summary

As an Advanced Hardware Test Engineer at Honeywell, you will lead and drive Pressure, Force, Speed & Position Sensor testing and System development. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define hardware test requirements and specifications and design complex hardware systems. Your role will involve performing sensor testing and validation to ensure product performance and reliability. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers, stay updated with industry trends and technologies, and contribute to the overall success of hardware projects

  • 5+ years of experience in hardware testing, validation, and system development for sensors or embedded systems (experience)
  • Proven track record in testing Pressure, Force, Speed, or Position Sensors (experience)
  • Hands-on experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators, and automated test platforms (experience)
  • Strong understanding of hardware design principles, signal integrity, and reliability testing standards (e.g., ISO, MIL-STD) (experience)
  • Experience in cross-functional collaboration for defining test requirements and specifications (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (experience)
  • Certifications in Six Sigma, ISTQB, or sensor technology-specific training (experience)
  • Experience with Honeywell products or similar sensor technologies in aerospace/industrial applications (experience)

  • Lead end-to-end testing and validation of Pressure, Force, Speed, and Position Sensors to ensure compliance with performance specifications
  • Design and develop complex hardware test systems and automated validation frameworks for efficient product verification
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define detailed hardware test requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria
  • Perform data analysis on test results, identify root causes of failures, and implement corrective actions for improved reliability
