Key Responsibilities

- Utilize estimation software to model scenarios, perform risk assessments, and generate competitive bid proposals.
- Support senior estimators in reviewing and validating estimates to ensure compliance with Honeywell standards and client requirements.
- Assist in post-bid analysis to track win rates, margins, and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Maintain databases of historical cost data and vendor pricing for future reference.

- Certifications such as RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) or equivalent (experience)
- Prior internship experience in proposal estimation or EPC projects (experience)
Responsibilities
- Review RFPs, drawings, and specifications to identify scope and quantify materials/labor requirements for Honeywell building solutions
- Develop detailed cost breakdowns using tools like Excel, CostX, or Bluebeam for HVAC, security, and automation systems
- Conduct market research on supplier pricing and subcontractor rates to ensure competitive and accurate estimates
- Prepare proposal documents including bill of quantities (BOQ), pricing schedules, and risk contingencies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine estimates and align with project timelines and budgets
- Perform variance analysis on awarded contracts to improve future bidding accuracy
- Support the preparation of executive summaries and presentations for client submissions
