Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing comprehensive technical and commercial proposals for client RFPs, including bid analysis and response strategy development.
- Support cost estimation processes by gathering data on materials, labor, and overheads using advanced tools like Excel and ERP systems.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, and finance teams to ensure proposals align with project specifications and profitability targets.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform pricing strategies and proposal competitiveness.
- Review and edit proposal documents for clarity, compliance, and persuasiveness, incorporating feedback from senior estimators.
- Track proposal win/loss metrics and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for the estimation process.
- Participate in client meetings and presentations to support proposal delivery and relationship building.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship or co-op experience in engineering, sales support, or estimation (experience)
- Familiarity with CAD software or ERP systems like SAP (experience)
- Knowledge of aerospace or industrial sector standards (experience)
Responsibilities
- Analyze client RFPs and develop tailored proposal outlines under senior guidance
- Compile accurate cost estimates using historical data, vendor quotes, and risk assessments
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate technical specifications into proposals
- Prepare professional proposal documents, graphics, and executive summaries
- Perform quality checks and compliance reviews to meet Honeywell and client standards
- Support post-submission activities, including negotiations and contract handovers
- Contribute to process improvements by documenting lessons learned from bids
