Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures according to detailed blueprints, work instructions, and engineering specifications.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure products meet Honeywell's stringent quality standards.
  • Operate light manufacturing equipment, including soldering stations, torque wrenches, and automated assembly machines, while adhering to safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Identify and report defects or non-conformances, collaborating with quality assurance teams to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following 5S methodologies to support efficient production flow and minimize downtime.
  • Accurately record production data in Honeywell's manufacturing execution system (MES) to track output, yields, and process improvements.
  • Participate in team huddles and continuous improvement initiatives, such as Kaizen events, to enhance productivity and safety.

  • IPC-A-610 certification for electronics assemblies (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Precisely assemble components per engineering drawings and work instructions using tools like torque drivers and crimpers
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to verify product conformance to specifications
  • Operate and monitor assembly line equipment while troubleshooting minor issues
  • Document assembly processes and quality data in digital systems for traceability
  • Follow all safety procedures, including PPE usage and lockout/tagout protocols
  • Support inventory management by kitting parts and reporting material shortages
  • Contribute to team problem-solving sessions to improve assembly efficiency
