Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components according to detailed blueprints, work instructions, and Honeywell's quality standards.
  • Perform in-process inspections using precision tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure products meet stringent tolerances and specifications.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot assembly issues, optimize workflows, and achieve daily production targets.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation and accurately record production data in Honeywell's manufacturing execution system (MES).
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Kaizen events, to enhance process efficiency and product quality.
  • Support inventory management by verifying parts, reporting discrepancies, and minimizing waste in alignment with Honeywell's sustainability goals.

Responsibilities

  • Precisely assemble components using hand tools, fixtures, and torque wrenches per engineering drawings and specifications
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections at multiple stages to verify conformance to quality requirements
  • Operate and maintain assembly equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime
  • Accurately document production metrics, defects, and yields in digital tracking systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve assembly challenges and implement process improvements
  • Adhere to all Honeywell safety protocols, including PPE usage and 5S workplace organization
  • Support material handling tasks, such as kitting parts and staging workstations for efficient production flow
