Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures according to detailed blueprints, work instructions, and engineering specifications.
  • Perform in-process inspections and quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure products meet Honeywell's stringent quality standards.
  • Operate assembly equipment and machinery safely, adhering to all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA regulations.
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional groups to troubleshoot assembly issues, optimize workflows, and achieve daily production targets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following 5S methodologies to support lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Accurately record production data, including assembly times, defect rates, and material usage, in Honeywell's digital tracking systems.
  • Participate in team huddles, training sessions, and Kaizen events to enhance skills and contribute to process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble complex components using engineering drawings and work instructions to precise tolerances
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to verify product quality and compliance with specifications
  • Operate manual and semi-automated assembly equipment while maintaining production pace
  • Identify and report defects or process deviations to supervisors for immediate resolution
  • Follow all safety procedures, including PPE usage and hazardous material handling
  • Support inventory management by accurately tracking parts and reporting shortages
  • Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting workflow enhancements
