Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures according to detailed blueprints, work instructions, and engineering specifications.
- Perform in-process inspections and quality checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure products meet Honeywell's stringent quality standards.
- Operate assembly equipment and machinery safely, adhering to all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and cross-functional groups to troubleshoot assembly issues, optimize workflows, and achieve daily production targets.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following 5S methodologies to support lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Accurately record production data, including assembly times, defect rates, and material usage, in Honeywell's digital tracking systems.
- Participate in team huddles, training sessions, and Kaizen events to enhance skills and contribute to process improvements.

Preferred Qualifications
- Vocational training or certification in manufacturing, assembly, or mechatronics (experience)
- Experience in aerospace or electronics assembly (experience)
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles (experience)
Responsibilities
- Assemble complex components using engineering drawings and work instructions to precise tolerances
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to verify product quality and compliance with specifications
- Operate manual and semi-automated assembly equipment while maintaining production pace
- Identify and report defects or process deviations to supervisors for immediate resolution
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE usage and hazardous material handling
- Support inventory management by accurately tracking parts and reporting shortages
- Contribute to continuous improvement by suggesting workflow enhancements
