Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic components according to detailed blueprints, work instructions, and Honeywell's quality standards.
  • Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure products meet stringent tolerances.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and light machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols and Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot assembly issues, optimize workflows, and achieve daily production targets.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following 5S methodologies to support a safe and efficient production environment.
  • Document assembly processes and quality checks accurately in production records and ERP systems.
  • Participate in team huddles and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.

  • Vocational training or associate degree in manufacturing, mechatronics, or related field (experience)
  • IPC-A-610 certification for electronics assemblies (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environments (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Precisely assemble components including wiring harnesses, mechanical subassemblies, and electronic modules per engineering specifications
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to verify product conformance and identify defects early in the process
  • Safely operate assembly equipment such as torque tools, crimpers, and soldering stations while following OSHA and Honeywell safety guidelines
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor assembly discrepancies to minimize downtime and scrap rates
  • Accurately record production data, including cycle times and quality metrics, in SAP or similar ERP systems
  • Support inventory management by staging parts and reporting material shortages to the Production Supervisor
  • Contribute to kaizen events and process improvements to enhance line efficiency and team performance
