In this hands-on role, you will assemble and inspect precision aerospace and advanced technology products to meet Honeywell's rigorous quality standards. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor at our state-of-the-art Redmond, WA facility, you will collaborate with a dedicated team to drive production efficiency, ensure defect-free output, and contribute to Honeywell's legacy of innovation in aerospace and building technologies. Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble complex mechanical and electronic sub-assemblies using blueprints, work instructions, and engineering drawings to precise tolerances.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections using calibrated tools such as micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators to verify product quality.
  • Operate manual, semi-automated, and CNC machinery to fabricate parts and achieve daily production targets.
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and scrap rates.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Document production data accurately in Honeywell's ERP system and quality management software.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance and engineering, to support process improvements and new product introductions.

  • Experience working in a lean manufacturing or ISO-certified environment (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics, or related field (experience)
  • IPC-A-610 certification for electronics assembly (experience)
  • Experience with soldering, crimping, or wire harness assembly (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical components according to detailed work instructions and bill of materials
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications
  • Operate production equipment safely, including torque tools, presses, and automated insertion machines
  • Identify and report non-conformances, participating in corrective action processes to prevent recurrence
  • Accurately record production metrics, labor times, and material usage in digital tracking systems
  • Support inventory management by performing cycle counts and kitting materials for production runs
  • Adhere to all EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) protocols and contribute to team safety initiatives
