Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components using blueprints, work instructions, and engineering drawings to precise tolerances.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and specialized assembly equipment while adhering to Honeywell's safety protocols.
  • Perform in-process inspections and quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and vision systems to verify part conformance.
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize defects and downtime.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following 5S methodologies and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance and engineering, to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Accurately record production data in Honeywell's ERP system and complete required documentation for traceability.

  • Experience in aerospace or electronics assembly (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Precisely assemble complex components and sub-assemblies according to detailed engineering specifications and work instructions
  • Conduct functional tests and inspections on assembled products using calibrated tools and automated test equipment
  • Identify and report non-conformances, collaborating with quality teams to resolve issues efficiently
  • Operate machinery such as crimping tools, presses, and soldering stations while maintaining production targets
  • Participate in kaizen events and process improvement projects to enhance assembly efficiency and reduce waste
  • Ensure compliance with all EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations and Honeywell's zero-incident safety culture
  • Document assembly processes and results accurately in digital manufacturing systems for full traceability
