As an Assembler Level 2 at Honeywell's state-of-the-art facility in Danville, KY, you will be a vital part of our manufacturing team, responsible for the precise assembly of complex aerospace and industrial components. Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor, you will ensure that every product meets Honeywell's rigorous quality standards and exceeds customer expectations. In this on-site role, you will collaborate with skilled technicians and engineers to build systems that power critical applications in aviation, energy, and safety technologies. Key Responsibilities
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components using blueprints, work instructions, and engineering drawings to precise tolerances.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and specialized assembly equipment while adhering to Honeywell's safety protocols.
- Perform in-process inspections and quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and vision systems to verify part conformance.
- Troubleshoot assembly issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize defects and downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following 5S methodologies and lean manufacturing principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance and engineering, to support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Accurately record production data in Honeywell's ERP system and complete required documentation for traceability.

Responsibilities
- Precisely assemble complex components and sub-assemblies according to detailed engineering specifications and work instructions
- Conduct functional tests and inspections on assembled products using calibrated tools and automated test equipment
- Identify and report non-conformances, collaborating with quality teams to resolve issues efficiently
- Operate machinery such as crimping tools, presses, and soldering stations while maintaining production targets
- Participate in kaizen events and process improvement projects to enhance assembly efficiency and reduce waste
- Ensure compliance with all EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) regulations and Honeywell's zero-incident safety culture
- Document assembly processes and results accurately in digital manufacturing systems for full traceability
