Key Responsibilities
- Assemble complex mechanical and electronic components using blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure products meet Honeywell's rigorous quality specifications.
- Perform in-process and final inspections using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy and functionality.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and automated assembly equipment safely and efficiently to achieve daily production quotas.
- Troubleshoot assembly issues, identify defects, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and scrap rates.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality control and engineering, to support process improvements and root cause analysis.
- Accurately document production data, including assembly times, yields, and non-conformances, using Honeywell's digital manufacturing systems.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting and meet daily output targets (experience)
- Strong commitment to safety protocols and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- IPC-A-610 certification for electronics assemblies (experience)
- Experience in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing industries (experience)
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process improvement training (experience)
Responsibilities
- Precisely assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components according to detailed work instructions and Honeywell specifications
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections at multiple stages to ensure zero defects and compliance with quality standards
- Operate and maintain assembly tooling, fixtures, and machinery to optimize production efficiency
- Identify and report process deviations or non-conformances, participating in corrective action teams
- Accurately record production metrics and traceability data in ERP systems like SAP
- Support inventory management by kitting parts and minimizing waste through just-in-time practices
- Adhere to all EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
