Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble complex mechanical and electronic components using blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure products meet Honeywell's rigorous quality specifications.
  • Perform in-process and final inspections using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy and functionality.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and automated assembly equipment safely and efficiently to achieve daily production quotas.
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues, identify defects, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and scrap rates.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality control and engineering, to support process improvements and root cause analysis.
  • Accurately document production data, including assembly times, yields, and non-conformances, using Honeywell's digital manufacturing systems.

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience in assembly or manufacturing environments, with proven ability to handle complex assemblies (experience)
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, engineering drawings, and assembly instructions (experience)
  • Experience with precision measurement tools and quality inspection processes (experience)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting and meet daily output targets (experience)
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols and quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • IPC-A-610 certification for electronics assemblies (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing industries (experience)
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent process improvement training (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Precisely assemble mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components according to detailed work instructions and Honeywell specifications
  • Conduct visual and dimensional inspections at multiple stages to ensure zero defects and compliance with quality standards
  • Operate and maintain assembly tooling, fixtures, and machinery to optimize production efficiency
  • Identify and report process deviations or non-conformances, participating in corrective action teams
  • Accurately record production metrics and traceability data in ERP systems like SAP
  • Support inventory management by kitting parts and minimizing waste through just-in-time practices
  • Adhere to all EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) guidelines and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
