  • Troubleshoot assembly issues, identify root causes of defects, and implement corrective actions to minimize rework and downtime.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and automated machinery safely and efficiently in a lean manufacturing environment.
  • Maintain accurate production records, update ERP systems, and generate reports on assembly metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, engineering, and production supervisors, to resolve technical challenges and optimize workflows.
  • Adhere to Honeywell's health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, including 5S methodology and waste reduction practices.

  • Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and Bills of Materials (BOM) (experience)
  • Experience with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges) and quality inspection processes (experience)
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Kaizen, Six Sigma) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • IPC-A-610 certification for electronics assemblies (experience)
  • Experience with soldering and wire harness assembly (experience)
  • AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality management system knowledge (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Precisely assemble complex products from raw materials and sub-assemblies following detailed work instructions and engineering drawings
  • Conduct in-process and final inspections using calibrated tools to ensure products meet Honeywell's stringent quality and tolerance requirements
  • Diagnose and resolve assembly discrepancies, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures
  • Safely operate manual, pneumatic, and automated assembly equipment while maintaining production schedules
  • Document assembly processes, test results, and non-conformances in digital systems for traceability and reporting
  • Participate in team huddles and kaizen events to suggest process improvements and enhance efficiency
  • Maintain a clean, organized workstation compliant with 5S standards and safety regulations
