Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic subassemblies using blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to precise tolerances.
  • Perform functional and environmental testing on products, including pressure, thermal, vibration, and electrical diagnostics, to verify compliance with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve assembly or test failures, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and scrap rates.
  • Conduct detailed inspections using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, multimeters, and oscilloscopes, documenting results in quality management systems.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to 5S principles, ESD controls, and Honeywell's safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to support process improvements, root cause analysis, and continuous enhancement initiatives.
  • Accurately record production data, test results, and non-conformances in ERP systems like SAP.

  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions (experience)
  • Experience with precision measurement tools and test equipment (experience)
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screening, and obtain security clearance if required (experience)
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality standards such as IPC-A-610 and AS9100 (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field (experience)
  • IPC J-STD-001 soldering certification (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing or cleanroom environments (experience)
  • Familiarity with Honeywell or similar ERP systems (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Precisely assemble advanced products including wiring harnesses, PCBs, and mechanical enclosures per engineering specifications
  • Execute comprehensive test procedures using automated test equipment (ATE) and manual diagnostics to ensure product functionality
  • Identify and document defects, performing root cause analysis and rework as needed to maintain yield targets
  • Calibrate and maintain test fixtures, tools, and gauges to uphold measurement accuracy and traceability
  • Support production ramp-ups by training junior technicians and optimizing assembly workflows
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, Kaizen events, and audits to drive lean manufacturing principles
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including ITAR and FAA standards
