Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
- Ensure compliance with Honeywell's financial policies, SOX controls, and Indian GAAP/IFRS standards through rigorous review and reconciliation processes.
- Support the financial close cycle by performing account reconciliations, variance analysis, and accrual postings in ERP systems like SAP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that inform business strategies and operational improvements.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks, implementing controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis for senior leadership to support budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.

- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, accounting, or controllership roles within a multinational corporation (experience)
- Professional certification such as CA, CPA, CMA, or ICWA (experience)
- Proven experience with financial close processes and month-end activities (experience)
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, Indian GAAP, and SOX compliance requirements (experience)
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle Financials (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, MBA, or equivalent (experience)
- Big 4 audit experience or exposure to manufacturing/industrial sectors (experience)
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and data analytics tools like Power BI or Tableau (experience)
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and flux analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Execute month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and intercompany eliminations
- Conduct compliance reviews and implement internal controls to adhere to Honeywell policies and regulatory standards
- Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights for variance explanations and forecasting
- Collaborate with business units, tax, and treasury teams to support budgeting, planning, and strategic initiatives
- Identify process improvements and automate reporting workflows to enhance efficiency
- Assist in audits by preparing documentation and responding to internal/external auditor inquiries
