Key Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS, Ind AS, and Honeywell's global accounting policies.
- Oversee the financial close process, including reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis, to meet tight deadlines and maintain audit readiness.
- Conduct internal controls testing and remediation, partnering with cross-functional teams to mitigate financial risks and enhance process efficiency.
- Manage a team of controllership supervisors, providing guidance on complex accounting issues and fostering professional development.
- Support external and internal audits by preparing documentation, responding to inquiries, and implementing audit recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data analytics and automation tools to streamline reporting and compliance workflows.
- Collaborate with business units to provide financial insights, forecast accuracy, and advisory support for strategic decision-making.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of progressive experience in controllership, financial reporting, or internal audit within a multinational corporate environment (experience)
- Professional certification such as CA, CPA, CMA, or ICWA (experience)
- Proven track record in managing financial close processes and ensuring compliance with IFRS/Ind AS (experience)
- Experience leading small teams in a finance or accounting function (experience)
- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls frameworks (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, MBA, or equivalent (experience)
- Big 4 audit experience or exposure to manufacturing/industrial sectors (experience)
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems like SAP S/4HANA (experience)
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end financial reporting cycles, including consolidation, analysis, and disclosure preparation
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Perform detailed variance analysis and provide actionable insights to senior leadership
- Lead SOX 404 compliance testing, control design, and deficiency remediation efforts
- Mentor and develop a team of 4-6 controllership professionals
- Implement process automation and analytics tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Partner with global finance teams and business stakeholders for ad-hoc reporting and forecasting support
