Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the data center sector, targeting hyperscalers like AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets, including pipeline development and deal closure for multi-million-dollar contracts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and marketing, to customize Honeywell's portfolio of cooling, power management, and fire safety systems.
  • Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers in data center operations.
  • Conduct market analysis, competitive intelligence, and ROI demonstrations to position Honeywell as the preferred partner for sustainable data center infrastructure.
  • Lead RFP responses, negotiations, and contract finalization while ensuring compliance with industry standards like Uptime Institute Tier certifications.

  • Deep understanding of data center infrastructure, including cooling, power systems, and edge computing (experience)
  • Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce and market analysis platforms (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) (experience)
  • Certifications such as CDCP (Certified Data Centre Professional) or ASHRAE data center design (experience)
  • Prior experience working with Honeywell or similar building automation technologies (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and qualify leads through industry events, LinkedIn, and partnerships to build a robust sales pipeline
  • Conduct technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept pilots showcasing Honeywell's energy-efficient solutions
  • Negotiate complex contracts, including SLAs for 99.999% uptime and sustainability clauses
  • Analyze market trends, such as liquid cooling adoption and PUE optimization, to inform go-to-market strategies
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to influence product roadmaps based on customer feedback
  • Track and report on sales metrics, forecasting accuracy, and win/loss analysis to senior leadership
  • Mentor junior team members and represent Honeywell at key conferences like Data Center World
