Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.

  • Conduct needs assessments and deliver compelling presentations on Honeywell's smart building portfolio, tailoring solutions to customer pain points.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives and technical decision-makers.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and service teams to ensure seamless solution delivery and customer satisfaction.

Summary

We have an opportunity for a Business Development Manager (Smart Buildings) to join us at Honeywell, in the London area, where you will be responsible for selling the full suite of Honeywell offerings into the assigned territory. You will have a background in selling a broad range of solutions including Automation, Operations Optimization Software Solutions, Instrumentation and ongoing Service and Support.   • Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce or equivalent (experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within the assigned territory (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Engineering (experience)
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or building automation credentials (e.g., BICSI, ASHRAE) (experience)
  • Experience selling IoT, AI-driven analytics, or sustainability-focused building solutions (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting high-value leads in the smart buildings sector
  • Lead consultative sales cycles, from initial discovery calls to contract negotiation and closure
  • Design customized solution proposals integrating Honeywell's automation, software, instrumentation, and service offerings
  • Cultivate long-term customer relationships to drive repeat business and upsell opportunities
  • Analyze market data and customer needs to develop targeted sales strategies aligned with business goals
