Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned categories, negotiating contracts with suppliers to achieve cost savings of 10-20% annually while maintaining quality and delivery standards.
  • Conduct supplier market analysis, RFx processes (RFI, RFQ, RFP), and supplier evaluations to identify and onboard strategic partners globally.
  • Manage supplier relationships, performance metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, quality rates), and risk assessments to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, finance, and legal to align procurement activities with business objectives and project timelines.
  • Utilize ERP systems (e.g., SAP Ariba) and advanced analytics tools to track spend, forecast demand, and generate reports for senior leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with Honeywell’s procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements such as ITAR, EAR, and sustainability guidelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including value engineering and digital transformation in procurement processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing within manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial sectors (experience)
  • Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management (experience)
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Ariba (experience)
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in spend analysis and cost modeling (experience)
  • Knowledge of global supply chain regulations and compliance standards (e.g., ITAR, ISO) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or MBA (experience)
  • Professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CIPS, or CSCP (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing industries (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement category sourcing strategies to optimize total cost of ownership and supply assurance
  • Lead RFx events, supplier negotiations, and contract lifecycle management to secure favorable terms
  • Perform supplier risk assessments, audits, and performance reviews to ensure reliability and compliance
  • Analyze market trends, commodity pricing, and spend data to drive cost reduction and value creation initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support new product introductions (NPI) and operational needs
  • Utilize digital procurement tools for e-sourcing, analytics, and reporting to enhance efficiency
  • Champion sustainable and ethical sourcing practices aligned with Honeywell’s corporate responsibility goals
