Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive channel sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration in the India territory.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key distributors, resellers, and partners to maximize mutual business success.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and market analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product management, and technical support, to align channel programs with Honeywell's product portfolio.
  • Monitor channel performance metrics, provide regular forecasting reports, and implement corrective actions to meet sales targets.
  • Conduct partner training sessions and joint business planning to enhance partner capabilities and product knowledge.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional agreements to optimize profitability and partner satisfaction.

Summary

As a Channel Sales Rep II here at Honeywell, you will drive sales growth through effective channel management, build and maintain relationships with partners, and identify new business opportunities.You will report directly to our Sales Manager and you’ll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a Hybrid work schedule.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or B2B sales within the technology or industrial sector (experience)
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas through channel partnerships (experience)
  • Strong understanding of the Indian market dynamics and distribution networks (experience)
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar platforms (experience)
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% within India and occasionally internationally (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) (experience)
  • Certifications in sales management (e.g., CPSM) or channel partner programs (experience)
  • Prior experience selling industrial automation, aerospace, or building technologies solutions (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement channel sales plans to achieve annual revenue targets and market share growth
  • Recruit, onboard, and manage a portfolio of channel partners to expand Honeywell's ecosystem
  • Conduct regular business reviews with partners to analyze performance and identify growth opportunities
  • Lead joint marketing initiatives and co-selling activities to accelerate deal closures
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports using data analytics tools
  • Resolve partner escalations and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to refine channel strategies
