Job Overview

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will cultivate strong partnerships with distributors, resellers, and strategic allies across India and key global markets. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute channel sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with channel partners, conducting regular business reviews and joint planning sessions.
  • Identify and onboard new channel partners through market analysis, lead generation, and targeted outreach.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including product marketing and technical support, to deliver customized solutions that meet partner needs.
  • Monitor channel performance metrics, providing coaching and resources to optimize sales effectiveness.
  • Drive joint marketing initiatives and co-selling opportunities to maximize market penetration.
  • Report sales pipeline, forecasts, and insights to senior leadership using CRM tools like Salesforce.

  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales quotas through indirect channel strategies (experience)
  • Experience working with CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar platforms (experience)
  • Strong understanding of the Indian market dynamics and channel ecosystems (experience)
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% domestically and internationally (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) (experience)
  • Certifications in sales management (e.g., CPSM) or channel partner programs (experience)
  • Experience selling industrial automation, aerospace, or building technologies solutions (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive channel sales plans to drive revenue growth and market share expansion
  • Recruit, onboard, and enable new channel partners through training, certification programs, and performance incentives
  • Conduct quarterly business planning sessions with partners to align on goals, forecasts, and joint action plans
  • Analyze channel performance data using KPIs such as partner revenue, mindshare, and pipeline velocity to provide actionable insights
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create partner-specific marketing collateral, demos, and proof-of-concept solutions
  • Negotiate channel agreements, pricing models, and incentive structures to ensure mutual profitability
  • Identify emerging business opportunities by monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
