Processor - Level 1 (CNC Bruska Operator)
Overview
Join Honeywell's world-class manufacturing team as a Processor - Level 1 (CNC Bruska Operator) in Phoenix, AZ. In this on-site role, you will play a critical part in executing precision production tasks using CNC bruska (deburring) equipment, maintaining rigorous quality standards, and upholding safety protocols. Reporting directly to the Production Manager, you will contribute to Honeywell's commitment to delivering high-quality aerospace and industrial products through innovative manufacturing solutions. Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC bruska machines to perform precise deburring, edge breaking, and surface finishing on aerospace components, ensuring compliance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Execute production tasks including machine setup, tool changes, and part loading/unloading to meet daily production targets and schedules.
- Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMMs to verify part dimensions and surface quality.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, perform routine machine maintenance, and report any equipment malfunctions to supervision promptly.
- Adhere to all Honeywell safety protocols, including PPE usage, lockout/tagout procedures, and participation in safety audits to foster a zero-incident workplace.
- Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, implement process improvements, and reduce defects.
- Accurately record production data in ERP systems and maintain detailed logs for traceability and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Proficiency with precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, bore gauges) (experience)
- Basic knowledge of machining processes, materials (aluminum, titanium, stainless steel), and shop math (experience)
- Commitment to safety standards and ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Manufacturing Technology or CNC Programming (experience)
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing or with AS9100 quality systems (experience)
- Familiarity with Mastercam or similar CNC programming software (experience)
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC bruska machines for deburring and finishing complex aerospace parts according to work instructions
- Perform first article inspections (FAI) and in-process quality checks to ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances
- Adjust machine parameters, change tools, and troubleshoot minor issues to maintain production flow
- Document production metrics, scrap rates, and quality data in SAP or similar ERP systems
- Participate in Kaizen events and 5S initiatives to optimize workstation efficiency
- Follow Honeywell's Lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and improve cycle times
- Support team members during peak production periods and assist with inventory management
