This role demands a rare blend of strategic vision and hands-on technical expertise. You will set the data architecture vision, collaborate with senior engineers on pipeline optimization, and resolve complex data challenges. Success will be measured by Honeywell Forge Data Lake adoption, stakeholder engagement, platform cost efficiency, accelerated innovation, and tangible business value from AI-ready data.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with AI product roadmaps and business goals.
- Architect scalable data platforms, including data lakes, pipelines, and governance frameworks for petabyte-scale operations.
- Lead cross-functional teams to productize data assets, enabling revenue-generating AI solutions.
- Dive deep into technical designs, optimize ETL processes, and troubleshoot production issues with senior engineers.
- Foster deep stakeholder partnerships across product, engineering, and business units to drive adoption.
- Champion data democratization, ensuring secure, high-quality data access for analytics and AI teams.
- Monitor and optimize platform costs while accelerating time-to-insight for innovation.

Summary
Honeywell Forge is looking for a Data Leader to help productize, scale and shape Honeywell Forge Data Platform, that is the backbone of driving AI and Autonomous solutions. This leader will enable data strategy and data execution to enable revenue streams from AI products, drive AI-driven insights for customers and build a trusted scalable data platform that can be democratized for Building and Industrial Automation business. The ideal leader is equal parts strategist and hands-on technologist capable of setting vision, shaping data architecture, and diving deep with senior engineers to designs, optimize pipelines, and resolve complex data challenges. The success of this role will be defined by adoption of Honeywell Forge Data Lake, delivery of deep stakeholder engagement, cost efficiency of data platform, accelerated speed of innovation using data, and demonstrable business value from AI-ready data.

- Experience driving data strategy that delivers business value, such as revenue growth or cost savings (experience)
- Hands-on ability to design, optimize, and troubleshoot complex data systems (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (experience)
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty or Google Professional Data Engineer (experience)
- Experience in industrial IoT, building automation, or AI productization (experience)
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a multi-year data platform roadmap to support AI and autonomous solutions
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable data architectures, including data lakes, warehouses, and streaming pipelines
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to productize data assets into revenue-generating AI features
- Mentor senior data engineers, conduct code reviews, and resolve production-scale data challenges
- Engage stakeholders across Building and Industrial Automation to ensure high platform adoption and alignment
- Optimize data platform costs, performance, and reliability using advanced monitoring and automation
- Establish data governance, quality, and security standards to enable trusted AI insights
