Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and statistical algorithms to analyze complex datasets from IoT sensors, manufacturing processes, and enterprise systems.
  • Lead data exploration initiatives, identifying patterns and anomalies to inform strategic decision-making and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and domain experts to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines using cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, ensuring data quality, integrity, and accessibility.
  • Conduct advanced analytics, including predictive modeling, natural language processing, and computer vision, to enhance product performance and customer experiences.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders through compelling visualizations and reports using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Stay abreast of emerging data science trends and contribute to innovation in Honeywell's AI/ML roadmap.

  • Proven track record of developing and deploying ML models in production environments (experience)
  • Strong proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling (experience)
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or SQL/NoSQL databases (experience)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) for data processing and ML deployment (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD in Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field (experience)
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Machine Learning or Google Professional Data Engineer (experience)
  • Domain experience in aerospace, manufacturing, IoT, or industrial automation (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize machine learning models for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and optimization in industrial applications
  • Lead end-to-end data science projects, from data ingestion and cleaning to model evaluation and deployment
  • Collaborate with engineering and business teams to integrate AI solutions into Honeywell products and services
  • Perform exploratory data analysis on large-scale datasets to uncover actionable insights
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using tools like Apache Airflow
  • Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to best practices in model governance and ethics
  • Monitor model performance post-deployment and iterate based on real-world feedback
