Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a robust business development strategy aligned with Honeywell’s regional and global objectives, targeting key industries such as manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities through market analysis, competitive intelligence, and stakeholder engagement, leading to a pipeline of high-value prospects.
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships with C-suite executives, government officials, and industry partners to position Honeywell as the preferred innovation partner.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in crafting winning proposals, negotiating contracts, and closing multimillion-dollar deals while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and sales teams to tailor solutions that address customer pain points and drive long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor business performance metrics, providing data-driven insights to refine strategies and achieve quarterly and annual targets.
  • Represent Honeywell at industry conferences, trade shows, and client events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

  • Proven track record of closing multimillion-dollar deals and expanding market share in India or APAC (experience)
  • Strong understanding of the Indian market landscape, including regulatory environments and key industries like aerospace, energy, and building automation (experience)
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed, global organization (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) from a reputed institution (experience)
  • Certifications such as Certified Sales Professional (CSP) or Strategic Account Management Association (SAMA) credentials (experience)
  • Prior experience in Honeywell or similar Fortune 100 industrial conglomerates (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement business development strategies to achieve annual revenue targets exceeding INR 50 crores
  • Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to identify untapped opportunities in high-growth sectors
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including Fortune 500 clients and government entities
  • Lead RFP responses, negotiations, and contract finalization for complex, high-value opportunities
  • Collaborate with R&D and product teams to customize Honeywell solutions for Indian market needs
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as pipeline velocity, win rates, and customer acquisition costs
  • Mentor junior business development staff and foster a high-performance team culture
