Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, control circuits, and embedded electronics for aerospace and industrial applications.
  • Perform circuit simulations, PCB layouts, and schematic captures using industry-standard tools.
  • Conduct testing, validation, and troubleshooting of electrical hardware to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to integrate electrical systems into larger product architectures.
  • Analyze system requirements, generate technical documentation, and support root cause analysis for complex electrical issues.
  • Ensure designs meet regulatory standards such as IPC, UL, and aerospace-specific certifications (e.g., DO-160).
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in engineering processes.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering design and development, preferably in aerospace, industrial automation, or manufacturing sectors (experience)
  • Proficiency in electrical design tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD, or Mentor Graphics (experience)
  • Hands-on experience with power electronics, analog/digital circuit design, and PCB prototyping (experience)
  • Strong understanding of electrical standards and compliance (e.g., IPC-610, MIL-STD) (experience)
  • Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (experience)
  • Certifications such as PE (Professional Engineer), Six Sigma Green Belt, or IPC Certified Designer (experience)
  • Experience with aerospace standards (e.g., DO-160, ARINC) or embedded systems development (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design and simulate electrical circuits and systems for power distribution and control in industrial and aerospace applications
  • Develop PCB layouts and oversee manufacturing and assembly processes to ensure high reliability
  • Lead testing and validation efforts, including environmental and EMI/EMC testing
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical subsystems into full product solutions
  • Perform failure analysis and implement corrective actions to enhance system robustness
  • Generate detailed technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and design reports
  • Support product lifecycle management from concept through production and field deployment
