Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and simulating electronic circuits for high-reliability applications in aerospace and defense.

As an Electronic Design Trainee here at Honeywell in Brno, you will be part of a team working on new products that span from Urban Air Mobility through Military Mission Computer to Space design. This is a part-time opportunity for current university students.

  • Availability for part-time hybrid work (20-25 hours/week) (experience)
  • Strong academic record with relevant coursework in electronics or embedded systems (experience)
  • Legal eligibility to work in the Czech Republic or EU (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering (experience)
  • Hands-on experience with PCB prototyping or soldering (experience)
  • Participation in university projects or internships in aerospace/defense electronics (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design and simulate electronic circuits for Urban Air Mobility, military, and space applications using CAD tools
  • Create and review PCB schematics and layouts to meet high-reliability standards
  • Conduct component selection, thermal analysis, and signal integrity simulations
  • Assist in hardware testing, debugging, and validation in lab environments
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electronics into complex systems
  • Document design processes, generate reports, and present findings in team meetings
  • Support firmware integration and interface with embedded software engineers
