Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and debug embedded firmware for microcontrollers and real-time operating systems (RTOS) in safety-critical applications.
  • Design low-level drivers and interfaces for sensors, actuators, and communication protocols such as CAN, I2C, SPI, and UART.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and validation of embedded software using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG debuggers.
  • Optimize code for performance, power consumption, and memory efficiency in resource-constrained environments.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration of firmware with PCB designs and prototypes.
  • Document code, create technical reports, and participate in code reviews to maintain high standards of quality and reliability.
  • Support system-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis for field issues.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Embedded Systems or related field (experience)
  • Experience with embedded Linux or Yocto Project (experience)
  • Certifications such as ARM Accredited Engineer or MISRA C (experience)
