Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize code for performance, power consumption, and memory efficiency in resource-constrained environments.

  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) like FreeRTOS or Zephyr (experience)
  • Strong understanding of embedded hardware concepts including GPIO, I2C, SPI, UART (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Embedded Systems or related field (experience)
  • Experience with embedded Linux or Yocto Project (experience)
  • Certifications such as ARM Accredited Engineer or ISTQB Foundation (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Design, code, and test embedded firmware for microcontroller-based systems using C/C++
  • Implement and optimize communication protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, or wireless (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi)
  • Conduct hardware-software integration testing and debug issues using lab equipment
  • Develop unit tests and perform static code analysis to ensure code quality and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and architectures
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes
  • Support product deployment, maintenance, and field issue resolution
