Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded software for real-time systems using C/C++ on microcontrollers and ARM-based processors.
- Develop and optimize device drivers, firmware, and low-level protocols for hardware interfaces including UART, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and debugging using tools like JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, systems architects, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
- Conduct code reviews, maintain version control with Git, and adhere to MISRA C and DO-178C safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex embedded system issues in production environments.
- Document designs, APIs, and test procedures to support product lifecycle management.

- Proficiency in C/C++ programming for embedded environments (experience)
- Hands-on experience with microcontroller architectures (e.g., ARM Cortex-M, STM32, NXP) (experience)
- Strong understanding of RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr) and bare-metal programming (experience)
- Experience with embedded debugging tools and hardware protocols (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent (experience)
- Certifications in embedded systems (e.g., ARM Accredited Engineer, ISTQB) (experience)
- Experience with safety-critical standards like DO-178C, ISO 26262, or Functional Safety (experience)
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop embedded firmware for sensors, actuators, and control systems in aerospace and industrial applications
- Optimize low-level drivers and algorithms for power efficiency and real-time performance
- Lead integration and validation of embedded systems with hardware prototypes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and interfaces
- Perform static code analysis, unit testing, and system-level verification
- Support product deployment, field testing, and root-cause analysis for embedded issues
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in embedded development
