Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded software for microcontrollers and processors using C/C++ in resource-constrained environments.
- Develop and debug real-time operating systems (RTOS) applications, ensuring low-latency performance and fault tolerance.
- Perform hardware-software integration, including peripheral interfacing (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN) and board bring-up activities.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and system-level validation using tools like JTAG debuggers and oscilloscopes.
- Optimize firmware for power efficiency, memory usage, and performance in safety-critical systems compliant with DO-178C or ISO 26262 standards.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers, firmware teams, and product managers to define requirements and resolve technical issues.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews, documentation, and agile development processes.

- Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex, AVR, PIC) and real-time operating systems (FreeRTOS, Zephyr) (experience)
- Familiarity with embedded debugging tools and hardware protocols (experience)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Embedded Systems or related field (experience)
- Certifications in embedded systems (e.g., ARM Accredited Engineer) or safety standards (DO-178C) (experience)
- Experience with IoT protocols (MQTT, BLE) or Linux kernel development (experience)
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop embedded firmware for complex control systems using C/C++ and assembly
- Integrate sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces in embedded platforms
- Implement and test real-time algorithms for signal processing and control loops
- Perform static code analysis, unit testing, and CI/CD pipeline integration
- Troubleshoot and resolve firmware issues during prototyping and production phases
- Document designs, APIs, and test procedures for compliance and knowledge transfer
- Contribute to system-level design reviews and risk assessments
