Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement embedded software and firmware using C/C++ for microcontrollers and RTOS environments like FreeRTOS or VxWorks.
- Develop and debug low-level drivers for peripherals such as sensors, actuators, and communication interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and translate system requirements into robust, scalable embedded solutions.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and optimization to ensure high reliability and performance under constrained resources.
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Git and Jenkins.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in embedded systems, leveraging oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
- Document designs, APIs, and test procedures to support maintainability and regulatory compliance (e.g., DO-178C for avionics).
