Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion within established deadlines.
- Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and flux analysis to guarantee compliance with IFRS, GAAP, and Honeywell's internal policies.
- Conduct balance sheet reviews, identify risks, and implement controls to mitigate financial discrepancies and exposures.
- Collaborate with business leaders, shared services, and external auditors to deliver insights that inform strategic business decisions.
- Drive process improvements through automation, standardization, and best practices, leveraging tools like SAP and Hyperion.
- Monitor internal controls, perform SOX compliance testing, and support tax and transfer pricing requirements specific to the Indian entity.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and forecasting support to senior leadership for budgeting and variance reporting.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial controllership, accounting, or financial reporting within a multinational corporate environment (experience)
- Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP, IFRS, and statutory compliance requirements (experience)
- Proven experience managing financial close processes and balance sheet substantiations (experience)
- Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks (experience)
- Experience in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle Financials (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Finance, MBA, or CA/CPA/CMA certification (experience)
- 7+ years in controllership roles within manufacturing or technology sectors (experience)
- Advanced proficiency in financial planning tools like Hyperion or Anaplan (experience)
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end financial close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting for the entity
- Perform detailed flux analysis and variance explanations to ensure reporting accuracy
- Design and implement financial controls to comply with SOX 404 and local regulations
- Collaborate with global finance teams and business units to standardize processes and reduce close cycle times
- Prepare entity-level financial statements and support external audits
- Provide strategic financial insights through forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modeling
- Identify and drive automation opportunities using RPA and advanced analytics tools
