Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive facilities management strategies, including preventive maintenance programs, space utilization optimization, and vendor management.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute capital projects, renovations, and expansions while adhering to budget constraints and timelines.
  • Ensure compliance with international health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
  • Manage facility budgets, negotiate contracts with service providers, and drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations including HVAC systems, electrical infrastructure, security protocols, and emergency response planning.
  • Champion sustainability efforts by implementing energy-efficient technologies and green building practices aligned with Honeywell's ESG goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven track record managing facilities operations across multiple international locations (experience)
  • Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) and maintenance best practices (experience)
  • Experience with budget management, vendor contracts, and project management methodologies (e.g., PMP) (experience)
  • Familiarity with international HSE regulations and sustainability standards (e.g., LEED, ISO 14001) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Facilities Management or Engineering (experience)
  • Professional certifications such as CFM (Certified Facilities Manager), IFMA FMP, or LEED AP (experience)
  • Experience in manufacturing or high-tech industries with global facility portfolios (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate facility maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency
  • Develop and manage annual facilities budgets exceeding $5M, optimizing costs through strategic sourcing and energy management
  • Lead capital improvement projects, from design through commissioning, collaborating with architects, engineers, and contractors
  • Conduct regular facility inspections, risk assessments, and emergency preparedness drills to maintain compliance and safety
  • Implement workplace strategies including space planning, employee moves, and hybrid work accommodations
  • Drive sustainability initiatives, such as retrofitting for energy efficiency and waste reduction programs
  • Foster partnerships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver superior facility services
