  • In-depth knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA regulations, and industrial safety standards (experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 90% throughout the United States with a valid driver's license (experience)
  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, blueprints, and P&ID diagrams (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (experience)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or certifications such as ISA CCST or NFPA 70E (experience)
  • Experience with Honeywell automation systems (e.g., Experion, TDC 3000) or DCS/PLC programming (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise field teams in the installation, commissioning, and startup of electrical systems for industrial automation projects
  • Troubleshoot and repair advanced electrical issues in PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and instrumentation to minimize downtime
  • Develop and execute detailed installation plans, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality metrics
  • Perform system integration testing, loop checks, and FAT/SAT protocols for customer acceptance
  • Collaborate with Honeywell engineering and customer stakeholders to recommend optimizations and upgrades
  • Document all field activities, generate detailed reports, and maintain accurate as-built documentation
  • Promote a culture of safety by conducting toolbox talks, hazard analyses, and compliance training
