Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support for Honeywell's Industrial Automation products, including PLCs, DCS systems, and SCADA platforms.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware, software, and network issues in real-time to minimize downtime for customer operations.
- Implement and commission automation solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing client infrastructure.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and performance optimizations to enhance reliability and efficiency.
- Document service activities, generate detailed reports, and collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement.
- Train customer personnel on system operation, troubleshooting, and best practices to foster long-term success.

You will report directly to our Field Service Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Valliant, OK location on an On-site work schedule.

- Willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and work on-site in industrial environments (experience)
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary security clearances (experience)
- Strong understanding of industrial safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NEC) (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline (experience)
- Certifications such as ISA Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST) or Honeywell-specific training (experience)
- Experience with DCS systems like Honeywell Experion or TDC 3000 (experience)
Responsibilities
- Travel to customer sites to perform installation, commissioning, and startup of automation control systems
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using diagnostic tools, schematics, and Honeywell software suites
- Execute software upgrades, firmware updates, and configuration changes to optimize system performance
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to provide field feedback for product enhancements
- Prepare and deliver technical reports, service summaries, and customer training sessions
- Maintain inventory of service tools, spare parts, and ensure compliance with Honeywell service procedures
- Identify opportunities for upselling Honeywell solutions and services during customer interactions
