Key Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of complex Honeywell control systems, sensors, and automation equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on industrial instrumentation, HVAC systems, and safety-critical devices in international field environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, sales, and customers, to develop customized service plans and resolve technical escalations efficiently.
  • Train client personnel on system operation, maintenance procedures, and Honeywell software tools to maximize uptime and ROI.
  • Document service activities, generate detailed reports, and recommend upgrades or optimizations using data analytics from Honeywell's connected platforms.
  • Ensure compliance with international safety standards, environmental regulations, and Honeywell quality protocols during all field operations.
  • Travel internationally (up to 50%) to support global projects, providing 24/7 on-call support as needed for mission-critical systems.

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in field service engineering for industrial automation, instrumentation, or control systems (experience)
  • Proven track record of troubleshooting and repairing complex electromechanical systems in field environments (experience)
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 50% and work in hybrid on-site/remote settings (experience)
  • Strong understanding of safety standards (e.g., OSHA, IEC, ATEX) and regulatory compliance (experience)
  • Valid driver's license and passport with ability to obtain necessary work visas (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline (experience)
  • Honeywell-specific certifications (e.g., Experion, Safety Manager, or DCS training) (experience)
  • Experience with IoT, SCADA systems, or predictive maintenance analytics (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and commission Honeywell distributed control systems (DCS) and safety instrumented systems (SIS) at customer sites
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware/software faults using diagnostic tools and Honeywell's Connected Plant platform
  • Perform system upgrades, loop checks, and functional testing to validate performance against specifications
  • Provide technical training and knowledge transfer to customer operations teams
  • Generate service reports, failure analysis, and recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to field-test prototypes and provide feedback for product enhancements
  • Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools while adhering to lean service practices
