Location: International (Hybrid Workplace)

In this entry-level role, you will provide on-site technical support for Honeywell's advanced industrial automation, aerospace, and building technologies systems. Working in a hybrid model, you will split time between customer sites worldwide and remote collaboration, ensuring seamless installation, maintenance, and optimization of mission-critical equipment. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform field installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting of Honeywell control systems, sensors, and automation hardware at customer facilities.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on complex electromechanical systems to minimize downtime.
  • Calibrate instruments and verify system performance using specialized diagnostic tools and software.
  • Train customer operators on system operation, safety protocols, and basic troubleshooting procedures.
  • Document service activities, generate detailed reports, and update Honeywell's service management database.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to identify improvement opportunities and support root cause analysis for field issues.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, local regulations, and Honeywell quality processes during all fieldwork.

Skills Required

  • Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and instrumentation calibrationintermediate

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field (experience)
  • 1-3 years of experience in field service, maintenance, or technical support for industrial systems (experience)
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 50% and work flexible hours including nights/weekends as needed (experience)
  • Valid passport and ability to obtain necessary visas/work permits for international assignments (experience)
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and using diagnostic tools (experience)
  • Strong safety awareness and adherence to OSHA or equivalent international standards (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline (experience)
  • Certifications such as ISA Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST) or Honeywell-specific training (experience)
  • Experience with Honeywell Experion PKS, DCS, or building management systems (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and commission Honeywell field instrumentation, PLCs, and control panels at customer sites
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware/software faults using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and proprietary Honeywell software
  • Perform system upgrades, loop checks, and functional testing to ensure optimal performance
  • Provide technical guidance and hands-on training to end-users and maintenance staff
  • Generate accurate service reports, spare parts recommendations, and failure analysis documentation
  • Coordinate with remote support teams and logistics for timely resolution of complex issues
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction
