Key Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, commissioning, and startup of Honeywell control systems, sensors, and automation equipment at customer sites.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using diagnostic tools, schematics, and Honeywell proprietary software.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, calibration, and repairs on field hardware to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Train customer personnel on system operation, troubleshooting, and basic maintenance procedures.
  • Document service activities, generate detailed reports, and update service databases for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with remote engineering teams, sales, and product support to escalate issues and implement solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to international safety regulations, quality standards, and Honeywell's environmental policies during all field activities.

  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 50-70% and ability to obtain necessary work visas and clearances (experience)
  • Proficiency in reading technical drawings, schematics, and using diagnostic tools (experience)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in various environmental conditions (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related discipline (experience)
  • Certifications such as ISA Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST) or Honeywell-specific training (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Install and commission Honeywell automation systems including sensors, controllers, and HMIs at international customer sites
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical faults using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and software diagnostics
  • Perform system upgrades, software patches, and configuration changes to enhance performance and cybersecurity
  • Conduct root cause analysis on failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Deliver technical training sessions and create user manuals tailored to client needs
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to provide field feedback for product improvements
  • Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation per ISO and industry standards
