Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert-level field service support for Honeywell's Industrial Automation products, including PLCs, DCS, SCADA systems, and safety instrumented systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues on customer sites, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and methodologies to minimize downtime.
  • Implement customized automation solutions, perform system commissioning, and conduct thorough testing to meet client specifications and performance standards.
  • Conduct training sessions for customer personnel on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and product management, to develop proactive service strategies and resolve escalated issues.
  • Maintain detailed service reports, documentation, and compliance records in line with Honeywell's quality and safety standards.

  • Strong understanding of industrial protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, and Foundation Fieldbus (experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within India for customer site visits (experience)
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to work in industrial environments with safety compliance (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or an MBA with a technical focus (experience)
  • Honeywell-specific certifications (e.g., Experion PKS, Safety Manager) or equivalent from other automation leaders (experience)
  • Experience with IIoT, predictive maintenance, or digital twin technologies (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced on-site technical support and troubleshooting for complex industrial automation systems to ensure operational reliability
  • Perform system installations, upgrades, and commissioning activities, including configuration, calibration, and integration testing
  • Analyze root causes of failures using diagnostic tools and data analytics to implement permanent corrective actions

  • Prepare comprehensive service reports, spare parts recommendations, and preventive maintenance plans
