Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote advanced technical support for Honeywell's Industrial Automation products, including DCS, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues using diagnostic tools, root cause analysis, and systematic troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Implement customized solutions, perform system upgrades, and conduct preventive maintenance to optimize customer equipment performance.
  • Train customer personnel on system operations, maintenance best practices, and safety protocols to enhance operational independence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development and sales, to gather feedback and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, service documentation, and customer communications to ensure compliance and satisfaction.

  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and SCADA systems (experience)
  • Strong understanding of industrial protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, and HART (experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within India for on-site customer support (experience)
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to work in industrial environments (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field (experience)
  • Certifications such as Honeywell Certified Field Service Engineer, ISA CCST, or Siemens/ Rockwell Automation certifications (experience)
  • Experience with Honeywell's Experion PKS or Safety Manager systems (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver advanced field service support for installation, commissioning, and optimization of industrial automation systems
  • Perform root cause analysis on complex failures in control systems and instrumentation to prevent recurrence
  • Execute software and hardware upgrades, patches, and configurations to enhance system reliability and performance
  • Conduct site audits, risk assessments, and preventive maintenance programs for customer assets
  • Liaise with customers to understand requirements, provide technical recommendations, and ensure solution implementation
  • Document service activities, generate reports, and update knowledge bases for internal and customer reference
  • Mentor junior engineers and collaborate on service improvement initiatives to exceed customer expectations
