Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for Honeywell's Industrial Automation systems, including PLCs, DCS, SCADA, and HMI interfaces.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex field issues using advanced troubleshooting methodologies and diagnostic tools.
  • Implement and commission automation solutions, ensuring optimal performance, safety compliance, and integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance, system upgrades, and training sessions for customer personnel to maximize uptime and efficiency.

  • Proven expertise in troubleshooting PLC, DCS, SCADA, or HMI systems from vendors like Honeywell, Siemens, or Emerson (experience)
  • Strong understanding of industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP) and control systems (experience)
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within India and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends as needed (experience)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain necessary site access clearances (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering or related field (experience)
  • Honeywell-specific certifications (e.g., Experion PKS, Safety Manager) or equivalent from other automation vendors (experience)
  • Experience with IIoT, predictive analytics, or digital twin technologies (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Perform detailed diagnostics and root cause analysis on automation systems to resolve downtime issues swiftly and prevent recurrences
  • Install, configure, and commission field instrumentation, control valves, and automation hardware in industrial settings
  • Lead customer site visits, including system assessments, upgrades, and optimization to enhance operational efficiency
  • Train end-users and maintenance teams on system operation, troubleshooting, and best practices for Honeywell solutions
  • Generate comprehensive service reports, failure analyses, and recommendations for product improvements
  • Collaborate with R&D and sales teams to provide field insights that drive innovation and customer-centric product development
