Location: San Luis Potosí, Mexico (International) | Workplace: Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and issue invoices for projects using electronic data interchange (EDI), customer portals, and manual methods, ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review contracts and service agreements to validate billing terms, rates, and milestones before invoice generation.
  • Reconcile accounts receivable discrepancies, collaborating with project managers and customers to resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in ERP systems like SAP, tracking invoice status from issuance to payment.
  • Generate reports on invoicing metrics, aging receivables, and cash flow impacts for senior leadership.
  • Support month-end close processes by verifying invoice batches and ensuring revenue recognition aligns with GAAP/IFRS standards.
  • Identify process improvements to automate invoicing workflows, reducing cycle times and errors.

Summary

The Financial Service Analyst will support the financial team by processing and delivering invoices via several methods to support projects invoicing in accordance with our contracts and service agreements. This position will be hybrid on San Luis Potosi site.

  • 3+ years of experience in financial services, accounts receivable, or invoicing within a manufacturing or project-based industry (experience)
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle (experience)
  • Strong knowledge of invoicing processes, contract compliance, and revenue recognition principles (GAAP/IFRS) (experience)
  • Experience with international billing and multi-currency transactions (experience)
  • Fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal) (experience)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance or Accounting (experience)
  • Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or CIMA (experience)
  • Experience in aerospace or industrial sectors with project-based invoicing (experience)

Responsibilities

  • Process and deliver project invoices via EDI, customer portals, email, and mail in compliance with contractual terms
  • Validate billing data against service agreements, purchase orders, and project milestones to ensure accuracy
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging, follow up on overdue payments, and resolve disputes with customers
  • Maintain and update invoice records in SAP or equivalent ERP systems for audit readiness
  • Prepare detailed invoicing reports and dashboards using Excel and BI tools for management review
  • Collaborate with project teams, sales, and legal to address billing inquiries and contract amendments
  • Implement automation tools and process enhancements to streamline invoicing operations and reduce DSO
