Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex hardware systems, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection for aerospace and industrial applications.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, firmware developers, and manufacturing teams to define requirements, perform trade studies, and ensure design feasibility.
- Conduct rigorous testing, validation, and debugging of prototypes using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and environmental chambers.
- Support production ramp-up by resolving yield issues, implementing design for manufacturability (DFM), and providing sustaining engineering support.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct design reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives such as Six Sigma and lean manufacturing.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., IPC, MIL-STD, DO-160) and Honeywell quality processes throughout the product lifecycle.

- Familiarity with signal integrity, power distribution, and mixed-signal design principles (experience)
- Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and reliability testing in production environments (experience)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (experience)
- Certifications such as IPC CID+ or Six Sigma Green Belt (experience)
- Experience with aerospace standards (e.g., DO-254, MIL-STD) or high-reliability hardware design (experience)
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed hardware designs from concept to production, including requirements analysis and architecture definition
- Perform schematic capture, PCB layout, and bill of materials (BOM) generation for multi-layer boards
- Execute hardware testing protocols, including functional, environmental, and EMC/EMI compliance testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware with firmware and software components
- Mentor junior engineers and lead design reviews to ensure best practices and innovation
- Analyze and resolve production issues, implementing root cause corrections and process improvements
- Document designs, test results, and engineering changes per Honeywell quality management systems
